Words can seem hollow in light of what we’ve seen this past week: the deadly shootings in a Pittsburgh synagogue and Kentucky grocery store and explosives sent in the mail.
But remaining silent in the face of this violence isn’t the answer.
Times like these demand that we live up to our shared values.
