Kvatek Wins 2nd C-USA Video Award

stacked_ucfJohn Kvatek, UCF’s Director of Video Services, is the Conference USA Video Coordinator of the Year as named by the Collegiate Sports Video Association. Kvatek wins the award for the second time in three years.

A 21-year veteran, Kvatek was named the 2006-07 Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year in May of 2007. The national honor followed being named the 2007 C-USA Video Coordinator of the Year. Previously, he was the Big Ten Video coordinator of the Year in 1998 while working at Wisconsin. John Kvatek enters his sixth season at UCF.

“This is really about my staff,” Kvatek said. “We do so many diverse things here in this video department, everything from coaching tapes to a variety of weekly television shows. The logistics of each are completely different. That is plenty to oversee and is entirely too much to accomplish – and accomplish well – without a tremendous group of people around you. They are the ones who earned this.”
