Social Justice Week is a series of events to address some of the world’s most pressing social/human rights issues. The goal is to educate and inspire people to take action to help end these local and global issues.

The events, hosted by Social Justice and Advocacy, are intentional, timely, and will be impactful in engaging the campus community in conversation.

    Racial Battle Fatigue is the psychological and physical symptoms many People of Color experience due to various direct and indirect forms of racism. #Triggered is an opportunity to discuss the psychological impact of racism on various minority groups and what we as a community can do to help each other. Join us as we discuss and understand more about the role racism has on our mental health.

    Let’s engage in what it truly means to create community by enjoying a catered lunch with your fellow Knights. This event is an amazing opportunity to lunch, learn, and interact with the others on campus.

    It’s time to rip the labels society places on you off and share your truth!
  • 1/26  Undocumented and Uncertain | Noon-1 p.m. | SU 221 –
    The outcome of Election 2016 has generated some real concern for and about undocumented and DACA students which has created questions and uncertainties. Join this dialogue to understand the difference between undocumented vs. DACA status and learn how we, as a UCF community, provide support.
  • 1/27- Tunnel of Oppression* | 10 a.m.-5 p.m.* | SU Pegasus Ballroom –
    Oppression is real and experienced by persons daily. This interactive experience will provide participants with a greater understanding of various forms and levels of oppression.
