UCF’s Rosen College will host a special Dine Around experience on Wednesday, March 25 in partnership with Children of the Nations® (COTN®), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising children out of poverty and hopelessness, so they can become leaders who transform their nations. COTN’s hospitality skills training helps children in various countries in Africa and the Caribbean end the cycle of poverty in their families.

Rosen College students helped create regional and culturally relevant recipes for a cookbook that will be used in COTN’s hospitality skills training classes and by the organization’s food service staff who provide meals for volunteers. Dine Around attendees will get to taste recipes from the cookbook representing a variety of national cuisines, including the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Malawi, Sierra Leone and Uganda. The book will also be on sale during the event and proceeds benefit COTN.

The Dine Around will take place in Rosen College’s Disney Dining Room beginning at 6 p.m. Admission and parking are complimentary. A suggested donation is requested at the door to benefit COTN’s mission: $20 for professionals and $10 for students. Business or business-casual attire is recommended.
