UCF students, staff members and alumni are invited to learn about graduate programs offered by the College of Health and Public Affairs at the college’s inaugural Graduate Fair on March 23.
Graduate program directors, faculty members and advisors will be available to answer questions and share information from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the atrium of Health and Public Affairs building l.
“There’s still time to apply to most of our programs for the fall semester,” said Ranetta Guinn, associate director of graduate services for the college.
The college is among the largest providers of graduate education at UCF. This spring more than 1,500 students are enrolled in its 27 graduate degree and certificate programs.
Guinn said most of the college’s master’s degree programs no longer require Graduate Record Exam scores as part of the application. These include programs in criminal justice, health care informatics, health services administration, nonprofit management, public administration, research administration, social work, and urban and regional planning. The college’s 13 graduate certificate programs do not require GRE scores as well. All of these programs are still accepting applications for fall admission.
“For programs requiring the GRE, faculty members and advisors will be on hand to speak with students about preparing for the exam and the admissions process to highly competitive programs such as the master’s degree program in communication sciences and disorders and the college’s doctoral programs in criminal justice, physical therapy and public affairs,” Guinn said.
