Installation artist Tori Greising’s show, “redux,” is being exhibited through Oct. 27 at Gallery 500 in UCF’s Center for Emerging Media, featuring pieces made from new and discarded paper.

Gallery hours are by appointment, but a free closing reception is open to the public from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 17 at the gallery, 500 W. Livingston St., Orlando.

Greising is interested in line, color, space, and material, and she creates site-specific environments that interact with the pre-existing architectural space.

She creates structures that are experienced by walking throughout the space–under, over, in and out–and are not just taken in visually.
Greising of Washington, D.C., works primarily with everyday materials, such as clothing and paper. She graduated with her MFA from American University and is a recent artist of the Art in Embassies Program.
