Instructors from Orange County Fire Rescue will be at UCF tomorrow to offer six free CPR classes in observance of World Heart Day.
Basic hands-only adult CPR will be taught every half hour from 1 to 4 p.m. in room 130 of the Teaching Academy. The first class starts at 1 p.m., and the last class starts at 3:30 p.m.
Participants in tomorrow’s class won’t earn CPR certification, but they will learn how to act quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency.
World Heart Day, held each year on Sept. 29, encourages people to reduce cardiovascular risk by making heart healthy choices.
