A staff member in Brevard Community College’s Provost Office was attacked Monday afternoon by an unidentified man with a stun gun. The incident occurred on the second floor of the building that houses the BCC/UCF Joint Use Library (Building 12) on the Cocoa campus.
The man wore a hooded sweatshirt and gloves. The staff member who was attacked has been treated and released from a local hospital, according to BCC.
UCF will work closely with BCC Security and the Cocoa Police Department as they investigate this incident. Updates will be posted on this website as more information becomes available.
