Knight Fans: Get Ready for UCF Fridays

Get your black and gold out, UCF fans! This Friday marks the official beginning of UCF Fridays.

There are numerous ways to get involved in UCF Fridays, with the most important obviously being wearing your UCF colors. But you can take part in other ways as well. Share pictures of your friends, family, co-workers and others wearing their UCF gear with us. Participate in our social media promotions. If you can’t find UCF apparel and merchandise at your favorite retailers, ask the store manager why they don’t offer it.

If you’re not wearing black and gold on Fridays — or worse yet, if you’re wearing colors of another college or university — be on the lookout for the UCF Spirit Police.

Knightro will be out and about on UCF Fridays, issuing “Spirit Citations” on campus. These citations will be good for 20 percent off any UCF logo apparel item at the UCF Bookstore and the Barnes & Noble location at UCF.

In addition, the UCF Bookstore and Barnes & Noble will also be giving UCF faculty and staff extra savings on Fridays. Faculty or staff with a business card or UCF ID will receive 20 percent off on t-shirts or hats on Fridays through September. In October, the Friday discount will be valid for polo shirts. In November, the Friday discount will be taken on crew neck or hoody sweatshirts.

How can you get even more involved with UCF Fridays? Take part in the Office of the Week contest. Post a picture to the UCF Athletics Facebook page or tweet a picture at @UCFAthletics with you and your co-workers sporting your UCF gear. One campus and one community organization will win 20 tickets to the next UCF football home game. Also, be on the lookout for our UCF Gear Giveaways. We’ll have surprise locations where fans can receive UCF gear for being among the first to find us. Those lucky fans will also have their pictures taken with their new gear for posting on the UCF Athletics Facebook page.
