Researchers, scholars and working professionals from throughout the globe are invited to discuss and debate critical issues that affect the hospitality and tourism industry during the second annual World Research Summit for Hospitality and Tourism, held Dec. 15-17, 2013 in Orlando, Fla. Elsevier, a world-leading publisher of scientific journals, and the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, the largest hospitality college in the United States, will jointly host the summit at the college’s 159,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art campus.

“We are honored to host this influential event,” said Dr. Abraham Pizam, dean of UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management. “The global perspectives and spirited debates discussed at the summit will truly impact the future direction of the hospitality and tourism industry on both an academic and professional level.”

The World Research Summit for Hospitality and Tourism will not only feature academic research presentations, but also trends and research gaps from the perspective of key industry professionals.

A wide array of topics are slated to be discussed at the summit, from tourism policy and planning to hospitality marketing, branding and management, to consumer decision making, service excellence and e-tourism.
