UCF Flags Lowered for Jason S. Dahlke

UCF flags have been lowered to half staff today, Sept. 2, to honor the memory and sacrifice of Staff Sgt. Jason S. Dahlke, 29, a UCF graduate who was killed Aug. 29 in combat in Afghanistan.Dahlke graduated from UCF in May 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. A Jacksonville native, he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, based at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga.

One of the UCF flags flown at half staff today will be presented to Dahlke’s family.
