The Center for Success of Women Faculty’s 20-member executive council nominates faculty and staff members at UCF for the recognition. Executive council members range from the College of Health & Public Affairs, Rosen College of Hospitality Management, Nursing, Engineering, Theatre, Women’s Studies and more.

“Together we represent a lot of areas within UCF – many colleges, ranks and campuses. We trust each council member to nominate people who reflect well on all of us,” said Linda Walters, Pegasus professor of biology and director of the Center of Success of Women Faculty.

This is the fifth year the center has honored faculty and staff for Women’s History Month.

Plus, numerous events are scheduled to celebrate Women’s History Month. Events include guest speakers like Kayla Harrison, an Olympic gold medalist, the Vagina Monologues and an Equal Pay Day, among others. See here for more on Women’s History Month events at UCF.
