UCF Creative School for Children
For more than 30 years, the UCF Creative School for Children (CSC) has provided a safe, convenient and nuturing place for the children of UCF students, faculty, staff and alumni. Established in 1976, the CSC was the first of its kind in the state and has become a leader and model for early childhood development centers at other universities.
The UCF Creative School for Children currently:
- Employs early childhood professionals with 12 to 25 years of experience
- Provides a setting for research projects in multiple UCF departments
- Has NAEYC accreditation–only nine percent of the nation’s centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, which is considered the highest accrediting association for child care centers
- Engages nearly 500 students per year through applied learning and other programs
