The Princeton Review: UCF One of Nation’s “Best Values”

The University of Central Florida has earned its second recognition this year as one of the nation’s “best value” colleges and universities [1].

The Princeton Review, one of America’s best-known education services and test-preparation companies, has joined Kiplinger magazine in selecting a UCF education as one of the best academic buys in the country.

“The Princeton Review’s Best Value Colleges for 2012” was posted today on the Web sites of The Princeton Review and USA Today.

The Princeton Review selected its 150 “best value” institutions—75 public universities and 75 private colleges—from a list of 650 schools it identified as having excellent academics.

Data from administrators, faculty and students helped narrow down the list. The selection criteria included academics, cost of attendance, faculty-to-student ratio and estimated debt.

Last month, Kiplinger announced that UCF ranked 39th on its list of best college values in the country. Like The Princeton Review, Kiplinger selected colleges that combine excellent economic value with outstanding education and academic and financial support.
