The Rosen College of Hospitality Management recently welcomed LENZ-works Productions and BYUtv to film an episode of Dining with the Dean, a cooking game show where university teams compete in a three course cook-off for their Dean.

The UCF Rugby Club and Rosen College Student Forum each received thirty dollars and were given three hours to plan, prepare and present a three course meal.  There was only one catch – every course had to include an ingredient from the team’s apartment.

Nearly 100 UCF students cheered as Rosen College’s Dean Abraham Pizam sampled six tantalizing dishes as part of a blind taste test.

Dean Pizam selected the Rosen team as the overall winner.  Their dishes included an arugula salad appetizer, an apple cider chicken entrée and a red velvet brownie desert. They received $1,000 for their organization and selected the Children’s Miracle Network to receive the $2,000 donation.

The episode will first air on BYUtv September 23, coinciding with the UCF vs. BYU football game. Keep an eye on Rosen College’s Facebook page for the online episode.  Enjoy behind-the scenes footage of secret ingredients, other dishes and delicious details!
