AJ Stevenson, ’08, an alumnus of UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, was recently named 2013 Manager of the Year for his service at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. This is the second consecutive year that a Rosen College graduate has received this prestigious honor—Nicole Corsetti, ’09 was named Manager of the Year at the same property for 2012.

“It has been a pleasure watching AJ grow in his career at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport,” said Pat Engfer, area vice president and general manager of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. “Since he joined our team as a front office agent while he was in school, he has been a leader. His can-do attitude and desire to wow his guests makes him a standout with a great future ahead.  I can’t wait to watch him as he grows and succeeds with Hyatt in the future.”

The winner of this annual award receives airfare for two, a complimentary hotel room at a location of his or her choice, one additional week of vacation pay, $350 food and beverage credit, and $500 cash.
