Help shape some new video games by testing out their beta version at the Student Union from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5.

Students from the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA), UCF’s graduate videogame development program, will have four games available for players to test out. The designers are looking for feedback to enhance their work in progress.

Students will be in front of the Student Union on UCF’s main campus recruiting players. Testing occurs in the Cedar Key Room of the union.

The games are Escherreal, Warp Derby, Grapple and Pitch Jumper.

Escherreal is an MC Escher-themed game with 3D and 2D platforming and puzzles. Warp Derby is a multiplayer vehicular shooter where you use the environment to creatively destroy your enemies. Grapple is a third person action-adventure game in which a grappling hook is the player’s only tool in defending a dusty mining town. Pitch Jumper is a platforming game where players use their own music to change the environment.
