Health Services added Physical Therapy to its list of available services for students, faculty and staff. The service is made possible by a partnership with Florida Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and complements the care that patients receive from Health Services’ sports medicine doctors. Most insurance plans are accepted and discounted self-pay rates are available.

“Physical Therapy is often a frequent appointment and many patients say finding the time to go is difficult,” said Dr. Michael Deichen, director of Health Services. “We hope that by bringing the service into the Health Center, that it becomes more accessible for patients who need it.”

Early this month, the Health Center, in a partnership with Florida Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, held an open house to introduce its new physical therapy service in its Physical Therapy Clinic. For appointments, call 407.303.6610.
