UCF Housing and Residence Life has approximately 6,000 beds on campus, however, staff will eventually send most students off campus at some point during their college career.
Two years ago, Off-Campus Student Services teamed up with Virginia-based Off Campus Partners. OCP provides software and services to simplify the off-campus housing search process for universities, students and property managers. Their private-label software platform and listing program powers the off-campus housing service at many of the nation’s leading universities.
Since this Web site has been in service, it has revolutionized how UCF students found off campus housing. With over 12,000 registered users and almost 3,000 e-mails sent through the site since its launch, it has been a success.
In May 2010, after a one year redesign effort, the site got a new look. In addition to a more streamlined and modern appearance, the functionality has once again made the search that much easier. Additional features such as integrated Google Maps, favorites, comparison charts and free message boards allows students to customize their experience with an unprecedented level of interactivity.
