Leadership Week Features Speakers, Activities

UCF Leadership Week 2013 will kick off Monday, Feb. 25, to celebrate the university’s 50th anniversary and to encourage the campus community through workshops, keynote speakers and activities.

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend all the week’s events, which will begin at 11 a.m. in the Pegasus Ballroom of the Student Union. Free food, prizes, games will be offered until 3 p.m. by the event sponsors, Student Leadership Development and the Student Government Association.   

Two of this year’s keynote speakers are: Joshua Fredenburg, an author, leadership/relationship expert and Generation Y Television commentator, who will speak 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in Garden Key 221 of the Student Union; and Judy Smith, a crisis-management expert and inspiration behind the television show “Scandal,” who will speak 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the Pegasus Ballroom.
