Red Day group photo

February 1 was the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women/National Wear Red Day. This was the tenth year of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement. Despite a lot of progress, there is still a long way to go, because heart disease continues to be the No. 1 killer of women, taking more lives than all kinds of cancer combined.Go Red for Women empowers women to take charge of their heart health and gives them the tools they need to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Provost and Executive Vice President Tony Waldrop invited everyone wearing red on Friday to join him at 11:30 at the Reflecting Pond for a group photo. Many Student Development and Enrollment Services faculty and staff joined Waldrop for the photo opportunity.
