UCF students can begin moving into the third new Neptune Community residence hall on Monday afternoon.
Students moved into the two largest Neptune residence halls, buildings 157 and 158, over the weekend. UCF provided temporary housing in the Towers at Knights Plaza to students in Building 156, which received approval to open on Sunday evening.
Construction in students’ rooms in all three buildings is complete. We are putting the finishing touches on common areas such as lounges, we are appreciate your understanding as that work continues.
Students in Building 156 can check in between noon and 4 p.m. Monday and between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at the Hercules Activity Center, which is adjacent to the Neptune Community. If those times are not convenient for you, please contact us and we will make appropriate arrangements to meet your needs.
We are working on solidifying dates with a professional moving company to make your transition from your temporary housing to the Neptune Community as easy as possible. This is an optional service provided at no cost to you. We will send students in Building 156 a follow-up email once dates are confirmed.
We understand that some of you may want to remain in your temporary room. Students who wish to do that should contact Housing and Residence Life at 407-823-4663 or housing@ucf.edu. For those of you who are unsure about where you would like to live, we ask you to make a decision no later than noon Monday, Aug. 26.
