The Counseling and Psychological Services staff members are excited to announce that they are now accepting art submissions for the 2016 Healing Art Exhibition IV. The exhibition theme this year is Unity. Call for artists’ deadline is October 30, 2015.
The Healing Art Exhibition is a program designed to create campus wide awareness of CAPS, increase inclusivity across campus, reduce mental health stigma and create an open exhibition space for creativity and healing.
Students, faculty, staff members and alumni are invited to submit up to three pieces of artwork. There is no entry fee, and selected artwork will be on display in the CAPS building from January 2016-November 2016. There will be an opening reception in February 2016; this event will be open to the public and will have food, beverages, live music and award announcements.
